Stompy's Playground take a radical approach to engaging children of all ages musically. By playing different music on their instruments, they show off the possibilities to our future musicians in a different light. Whereas some may not be motivated to pick up a fiddle and play Bach at an early age. Stompy's Playground offers a 'way in' and an inspiration for children who may have never considered pursuing music. But this is also about the audience which is crucial. We want to make people generally more interested in listening to music and diverse instruments, and go to live performances.
